Even though I’m decidedly less libertarian now than in former years, I still think the Cato Institute is the best think-tank around. I feel that David Boaz wrote this article in response to all the Tea-Party/Glenn Beck rants about freedom in America.
“If you had to choose, would you rather live in a country with a department of labor and even an income tax or a Dred Scott decision and a Fugitive Slave Act?” -Boaz.
The answer is clear, and I continue to admire Cato’s rationality.
